Give a Child in South Sudan Access to Books and Education

The BTS International is a non-profit that aims to provide essential books to children in schools across South Sudan. Access to books has not been easy for many children, especially after two consecutive civil wars that have destroyed numerous schools. Students are currently facing significant learning challenges due to the limited availability of learning materials in sciences, arts, and literature.

As of today, there are approximately 8,000 primary schools, 120 secondary schools in South Sudan that have few to no books except for the textbooks teachers use for teaching. The shortage of books restricts their understanding of the rapidly changing world and hinders their ability to develop critical thinking and creativity. The BTS International is here to restore hope where it was lost. We are committed to providing books to schools every year because we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to read.
